As we all know, Millie Bobby Brown has fallen victim to online hate and bullying, forcing her to leave Twitter.
So when she won Best Performance in a Show at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, she delivered her acceptance speech with a sweet slice of shade.
Millie couldn’t attend on the night due to a leg injury, but MTV aired her pre-recorded speech.
In her speech, our girl Mill talked of how thankful she is for landing her breakout role as Eleven on Stranger Things, before finishing with a side note to her online attackers.
“Since I know there are many young people watching this, and even to the adults too, they could probably use the reminder that I was taught – that if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say it,” she said.
“There should be no space in this world for bullying and I’m not going to tolerate it, and neither should any of you”.
Millie followed on by reaching out to her fans and welcoming them to message her on Instagram if they needed support or help with bullies.
As if that wasn’t boss enough, Millie and her fellow Stranger Things cast member, Finn Wolfhard, also won Golden Popcorn for Best Musical Moment. Hella cute.
PLUS the whole gang won Best TV Show!
Millie, you are the killing the game with your acting and your maturity to deal with online bullies.
