A man has been taken into custody by the LAPD for the scary content he was posting about Miley Cyrus on social media, says TMZ.
Over the past few weeks, the man was making Facebook posts that said he knew where Miley lived, and planned to travel to L.A. to find her.
A fellow resident had reportedly told police about the posts. TMZ reports that the LAPD, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, and Milwaukee law enforcement had been working together because of this man’s activity. The site also published screenshots the creepy posts.
On Monday, police discovered that the fan had traveled to Los Angeles,according to law enforcement officials.
In the lead up to the trip he posted multiple statements that were highly concerning. In one, he said that there was a “most horrific act” that he needed to complete, and that it will “be on the news” and will be “sad.” He followed up in another post saying: “I love you Miley.”
Miley has not yet commented on the matter.
