Miley Cyrus has been laying extremely low since her vocal box surgery, however, some fans have been growing concerned for the “Slide Away” singer.

While she has assured her fans that she is indeed fine, a new US tabloid report claims that she has been “shipped off to rehab”.
“Miley’s loved ones staged an intervention,” an unnamed source told GLOBE. “She’s been off the rails now for so long, and something very serious had to be done because Miley’s spiraling into dangerous territory with this crazy behaviour.”
According to the report, her vocal cord surgery was a “cover-up” for her “to drop out of sight and work on her issues and addiction problems.”
The source continued: “The trouble is that she’s so insecure, and the moment she’s not the centre of attention she acts out to try and stay relevant.
“That means partying and pulling these crazy stunts to get everyone’s attention, and it’s ultimately all caught up with her.
“She’s totally burnt out.”
Is this maybe why she has been pulling back on all the loved-up posts with Australian boyfriend, Cody Simpson?
It is suggested in the report that it was her ex-sister-in-law Elsa Pataky’s comments about Liam Hemsworth deserving better, that may have tipped her over the edge.
When asked about the divorce, the 43-year-old who is married to Chris Hemsworth said: “My brother-in-law, well… after a relationship that you’ve dedicated ten years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well, he’s a strong boy and he deserves the best.”
She continued, speaking on Liam’s close bond with Chris. “You always find support in your family, and he’s joined at the hip with [Chris], who has been there to give all the strength he needed.”
Elsa and Miley were close friends when they were official sister-in-law’s… so her comments came as a little bit of a surprise. However, it’s not the first time she and Chris stood up for Liam during this messy divorce.
Recent reports claimed that Chris was so angry with Miley’s behaviour following their split that he warned her to stop “playing games” with his younger brother.
“They are the ones picking up the pieces,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online in October. “And they’ll happily do anything to protect Liam, including shutting Miley out of Liam’s life.”
Miley is now dating 22-year-old Australian singer Cody Simpson, while Liam is dating Australian actress Maddison Brown.
