Controversial Married At First Sight bride Poppy Jennings made her way to Instagram Stories today with one thing on her mind: destroying her TV husband Luke Eglin, and the Nine Network. All at once.

Answering fan questions, Poppy went HAM about how her lawyers are working with her at the moment, so she can’t explain everything just yet… but it’s coming.
“I have seen lawyers so I can say everything I want to say without fear of defamation,” she began. “I am working towards being able to tell the truth because it doesn’t sit well with me to shut my mouth over something this serious.”
The mother-of-two also went in on Luke Eglin who she married on the show. She slammed the FIFO worker for “gaslighting her and even revealed that his own friends and family members have been coming to her to talk sh*t about him.
“I have had messages from his ex-wife, his ex-girlfriend, and someone he works with, all saying he’s a “dick”,” she said. “He gaslighted me completely. I was scared shitless.”
The most interesting part is the fact that Poppy says she was “dragged out” of the room when she decided to open up to her fellow brides about an incident directly involving her and Luke. She described it as “terrifying”.
“The times I had said what he did on camera was never going to be shown,” she began. “The girls started asking me questions about why I left and I started to get upset on camera. Then I got dragged out, told off, and wasn’t allowed to talk about what happened with Luke because it was too controversial. I could never say my truth.”
While we saw Poppy and Luke decide to leave the show on what seemed like okay terms, Poppy insists there was so much more to it.
“The reason Luke was really crying the day I left MAFS was because I had confronted him on-camera… We had a huge fight and the camera crew burst through the door and I was in the middle of yelling about what went down… none of which you have seen.”
A few weeks ago, Poppy accused Nine Network of covering up something that happened between her and Luke. A Facebook post explained that she wasn’t happy with her portrayal so she decided to walk.
“I was so scared I was saying sh*t like, ‘this could work’ because they [producers] told me Australia was going to f***ing hate me. F**k, I’d probably hate me too! From what I heard that’s all they play of me!
“I couldn’t say what was happening behind the scenes as it was too controversial. Why is Luke crying when I left??? Go and ask Luke why I was so uncomfortable????? Why the f**k did I really leave?? He’s petrified I am going to talk. He knows he f***ed up. Those tears from him are for his reputation and job!”
The Luke we saw on TV is supposedly nothing like the real Luke, Poppy explains.
“I was matched with someone who cheated on his wife, didn’t live in the same state and wasn’t dad of the year by any means,” the bride said in the lengthy Facebook rant. “The experts never met him!!! He was fake on camera and a complete dick behind the scenes! It was infuriating.
“I was uncomfortable with all the things about this person I was matched with that didn’t add up. But I was told, ‘Poppy, on camera and off camera doesn’t exist to the public,'” she said.
