Unfortunately for Lucy Hale, people just don’t care about her new CW show Life Sentence.
And while we admit we didn’t watch a single episode of it, we don’t blame the show or Lucy at all for that – or this cancellation. We blame The CW.
In our Netflix day and age, if a show isn’t easily accessible, people just aren’t going to watch it. I guarantee if the show was on Netflix or Stan, I would have given in a whirl, and so would many, many others.
Lucy took to her Instagram to announce the sad news just yesterday.
“Just got the sad news that Life Sentence will not be coming back for a second season,” she began. “I was emotionally attached to this story and to everyone involved so I’m a little shell shocked right now.”
Ouch.
