Former Love Island Australia star’s Tayla Damir and Dom Thomas have officially confirmed they have broken up after weeks of speculation in an emotional new video.

The pair dropped the breakup announcement on YouTube with the title ‘Answering Your Question: Have We Broken Up?’ as their social feeds have been relatively empty when it comes to their usual #couplegoal shots.
Both Tayla and Dom reveal they were on “different paths and directions” in life.
As for why it took some time for the now broken-up couple to announce the sad news, a teary-eyed Dom revealed: “We didn’t really know in our heads where we were at ourselves.”
Squashing any notion of behind-the-scenes drama Tayla told fans “There is no story behind it, there’s no drama, we’re just [going in] in different paths and directions in our lives and we hope everyone can respect our privacy and respect that we’re still fine and still mates.”
So there you have it – a mutual parting of ways.
In case you forgot, Tayla originally took out the top prize for Australia’s very first season of reality TV hit Love Island alongside Grant Crapp before the pair split up several weeks after.
