In case you somehow forgot (how??), Louis Tomlinson is an IRL angel.
And he’s finally getting the credit he deserves, as his personality and charitable nature is being broadcast in mainstream media while judging X Factor UK.
Us 1D fans already know how incredible he is (read this), the rest of the world only knew him as 1/4 of that boy band. But after Louis shared a touching moment with a contestant on the show, the world is going HAM for him. (Honestly, get in line).
Anthony Russell gets to the stage, and Louis briefly explains to the crowd how he knows him.
“Anthony auditioned for the show a year ago… and he came in with a black eye for his first audition so he stole my heart straight away,” Louis shared. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody at their first audition with a black eye.”
He added, “I’ve really gotten to know you over the past year and got to know your family and I think you’re a lovely, lovely lad.”
Simon Cowell then interjects and admits that Louis is being way too humble. After Anthony dropped out of the show last year, Louis tweeted him for public support, also sliding into his DMs to offer some real help.
Anthony went to rehab for four months and ended up becoming very close with Louis.
“I wouldn’t be here in this place now if it wasn’t for Louis,” Anthony shared on stage.
During his performance of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up”, Louis gets emotional, before running on stage to give him a hug.
