This one hurts a little.
Former One Direction star Liam Payne is currently promoting his new single “Stack It Up,” meaning he’s being pulled in every direction (sorry) for interviews.
The good thing about that is that we’re getting some really great goss about the 1D days that we never knew… like how Liam and Louis Tomlinson hated each other during the band days.
Sob.

He revealed the news while talking to Hits Radio, explaining, “I speak a lot to Louis. I think, obviously, he’s been through so much and we’ve been through so much together as well.
“When we were in the band it kind of felt like, because he was the oldest and because I’d been singing for quite a bit of time we both got put in a weird position because he was wanting to be the leader, and I was doing my thing and wanted to.
“So, at first we didn’t get on at all. We absolutely hated each other, it was so funny. Really bad. We hid it well. It was crazy.”
Liam also added how bad he feels for Louis with everything that he’s been through, but how essentially, it’s making him a better person.
“He’s good, I feel a lot for him sometimes, he’s been through so much. But I will say the most darkest situation you can have, it’s only helping him emerge as a person more, which is really good actually.”
CRYING.
Liam is referring to the hardships Louis has faced with his family. Not only did the star lose his mother Johanna Deakin to leukemia in December 2016, but his 18-year-old sister Félicité Tomlinson died in March this year of an accidental drug overdose.
Thankfully, Louis seems to be doing just alright.
