As any Directioner would know, each member had their role in the group.
Harry was the ~romancer~, Louis was the sassy one, Niall, the happy-go-lucky one, Zayn, the broody, quiet one, and Liam, the talkative father figure.
And Liam has basically confirmed this while talking to Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
Liam admitted that during the press days for One Direction, he was always the guy who had to keep the conversation going, and keep talking even when he didn’t feel like it.
Liam said, “I was the guy for the guy then. I was the talky guy. I feel like it was nice to be Zayn sometimes. He just came in and he wasn’t expected to say very much, unless prompted to do so. So we would all just carry on.”
We guess Liam wasn’t too pleased that Zayn got to sit there and say nothing while he had to be the “chatty one”, but today we know that the two are still friends.
Liam even wished Zayn a happy birthday recently.
