Recently, One Direction bae Liam Payne has been dishing a lot of dirt on his time in the band, and honestly not all of it is great.
Not only has he admitted that he struggled with alcohol addiction during the time, he also has admitted that he couldn’t stand putting up with the immature guys most of the time.
Ouch, our 1D hearts.
However his most recent interview with the Daily Star is probably the most savage yet.
He recalls how he went out for dinner with his family one night during the height of his fame in the band, and a cameraman accidentally knocked over his mother.
“I just wanted a burger with my parents,” he said. “I cried my eyes out. I thought, ‘I can’t do this’ and I really hated my life.”
He continued, explaining that, “It sent me AWOL at one point, if I’m honest. I can remember when there were 10,000 people outside our hotel. We couldn’t go anywhere. It was just gig to hotel, gig to hotel. And you couldn’t sleep, because they’d still be outside. People were speaking to me about mental health in music the other day, and that’s a big issue. Sometimes you just need some sun, or a walk.”
Poor Liam.
Now, Liam is enjoying his life as a majorly successful solo star, withhis gorgeous partner Cheryl Cole whom they share baby Bear Payne with.
