Yeah, same.
However, it wasn’t all fun and games for dad of the group, Liam Payne.
In a new interview with The Telegraph, Liam revealed that he always felt much older than his bandmates, and sometimes it really got to him.
“I was put with a group of rowdy teenagers, and when I was a teenager, I had mates, but I was always with my dad. I’d go out to the pub and chat with him. So when I was stuck with these boys I was thinking, ‘F- me, I don’t know how to do it.'”
Now though, he admits how hard it was to go on hiatus and be split up from the band.
“When I left the band, I felt a bit stranded. It took time, but I know as an artist I am starting fresh now. This is moment one. It’s the start line.”
And it’s true. Since leaving the band, Liam has gotten into a serious relationship with Cheryl Cole, had a baby with her, and released insanely successful solo music.
And, he’s still BFF’s with Harry, Louis, Niall and Zayn, so all is well in the land of 1D.
