Liam Payne recently sat down with The Telegraph to talk about his life post-One Direction, and tbh one of the most prominent part of that is the fact that he is now a daddy.
He and Cheryl Cole welcomed their first baby boy, Bear Grey Payne into the world on March 22 earlier this year, and since, we’ve only seen a few small glimpses of the bub.
Unfortunately, it’s going to stay that way too.
“We’ve only shown him in glimpses. We don’t want him to have the pressure that me and Cheryl have, as household names. We want him to enjoy himself first and then figure it out.”
So far, we’ve seen his feet, his hands… and the back of his newborn head.
Knowing the genes he shares with Liam and Cheryl, it’s pretty safe to say that we really want to see his gorgeous little face.
Speaking of Cheryl, Liam also discussed how incredibly happy he is with his girlfriend.
“It’s a ridiculous place to be in. She’s even more amazing than I thought. I was watching her do [her single] ‘Fight For This Love’ when I was a kid, and now we’re together with a kid. I feel like I’m X Factor’s biggest winner.
“We think about the same things,” he said. “She understands what my life is like. She knows what it’s like to sit on the Graham Norton couch [or] we can talk about her L’Oréal work. It’s not that we’re ‘a brand’ as a family, but we help each other.”
