It’s happened fam, Harry Stlyes has PEAKED! The Metropolitan Museum of Art has announced that the Costume Institute’s 2019 exhibition (the Met Gala) of 2019 will be hosted by Lady Gaga and Harry!
The exhibition next year will centre around a “Camp: Notes on Fashion” theme, taking inspiration from Susan Sontag’s essay, “Notes on ‘Camp'”.
“We are going through an extreme camp moment,” Andrew Bolton, the curator of the Costume Institute said in a statement, “And it felt very relevant to the cultural conversation to look at what is often dismissed as empty frivolity but can be actually a very sophisticated and powerful political tool, especially for marginalized cultures.”
Andrew even referred to Trump as a “very camp figure,” stating that camp isn’t limited to queer.
Could there be two better hosts than Gaga and Harry for this theme? We don’t think so!
