Lady Gaga and her fiancé Christian Carino have split up.
One of Gaga’s reps confirmed the news, and shortly after a friend told WHO, “It just didn’t work out. Relationships sometimes end.”
“There’s no long dramatic story.”
Maybe she figured out that he looks exactly like her dad lmao.
There has been speculation that the couple were taking time apart when fans noticed that Gaga was not wearing her engagement ring at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10.
Yikes.
She also happened to leave Christian out of her acceptance speech when her song “Shallow” won the best pop duo or group performance prize.
The rumours were solidified even more when Gaga celebrated Valentine’s Day by commemorating A Star Is Born with a rose tattoo on her back, instead of paying tribute to her fiancé.
“Happy Valentine’s Day. A tattoo toast to ‘la vie en rose’ by the beautiful @winterstone my spinal cord is now a rose,” Gaga wrote on Instagram alongside the photo.
Gaga and Christian began dating in February 2017 after they were spotted getting cosy at a Kings of Leon concert that year.
After ending her five-year relationship with Taylor Kinney, “she wasn’t expecting to find love with Christian so quickly,” a source shared.
“But things just became serious very fast. Christian is a good, grounding force and understands her career.”
