Kylie Jenner has graced the cover of PAPER magazine’s new “Transformation” issue, sitting down with Katherine Gillespie to talk all things plastic surgery, motherhood, and of course, money!
“People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false,” Kylie said of her dramatic transformation
“I’m terrified! I would never. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.”
The power of makeup really is something that Kylie is passionate about, and her billion-dollar company Kylie Cosmetics is proof of that.
Last year Forbes predicted that Kylie would become America’s youngest self-made billionaire within a year. For Kylie, she credits her social media following for its success, but insists that she is 100% self-made.
“I had such a huge platform, I had so many followers already and I had so many people watching me,” she said, before adding that “the self-made thing is true.” She added that her parents “cut her off at the age of 15.”
“My parents told me I needed to make my own money, it’s time to learn how to save and spend your own money, stuff like that,” Kylie said. “What I’m trying to say is I did have a platform, but none of my money is inherited.”
