Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s on-screen and off-screen relationship back in the Twilight days was Kanye/Kim level crazy! While it all ended badly, people are still curious about what the private couple were really like. Now K-Stew has opened up about the reality of what it was like for them and how it made them bitter…
Speaking to The Times, Kristen revealed that she was hyper aware of the media circus around their romance:
“I didn’t talk about my first relationships that went public because I wanted things that are mine to be mine. I hated it that details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world,” she explained. “When I was dating Rob, the public was the enemy—and that is no way to live.”
The dramatic break up between the pair proved she was probably right, after pics of her kissing her Snow White and The Huntsman director hit EVERY newsstand and website across the globe. However, K-Stew has a different outlook on being honest with fans now that she’s openly gay.
“But considering I had so many eyes on me, I suddenly realised [my private life] affects a greater number of people than just me. It was an opportunity to surrender a bit of what was mine, to make even one other person feel good about themselves.”
