Doing a sex scene in front of all those lights and cameras would be hard, especially if you’re not friends with the other person.
Which was basically the case for KJ Apa and Camila Mendes when they first began on Riverdale.
“It’s weird with someone you don’t know that well,” KJ said to Cosmopolitan. “On a movie set, you have time to get to know the person and rehearse before shooting. Camila and I just had to dive into it,”
But they look so natural when they ah… bang on screen.
“Now that we’re friends, it’s easier,” he continued.
But, unlike co-stars Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart (who just did their very first public appearance together as a couple, BTW)… KJ has kept his romantic life on the DL.
Aside from it being reported that he was dating a 16-year-old girl, he hasn’t been linked to anyone else, and neither has Camila.
But KJ admits that having his New Zealand accent has definitely helped.
“Having a New Zealand accent increases your chances by like 50 percent,” he confessed.
