New Zealand-born babe KJ Apa is breaking away from his red-headed Riverdale character Archie Andrews to appear in an ensemble rom-com called The Last Summer. The film is available on Netflix and also features Teen Wolf hottie, Tyler Posey.
Our favourite boys are also joined by Aussie actress Maia Mitchell (from Teen Beach Movie) as well as Paper Towns actor Halston Sage and 13 Reasons Why actress Sosie Bacon – it’s safe to say this is a damn good looking cast!
While the description of The Last Summer is hella vague – IMDb describes it as “a group of young people in Chicago come together during the summer before they head off to college” – we’re still stupidly excited to see all of these babes together in one movie!
This teen rom-com won’t be the only place you’ll see KJ this year, as he’ll be starring alongside Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg and rapper Common in the film The Hate U Give (which is due for release in October) and he’ll reprise his Riverdale role for season three, which is also slated for an October premiere.
