Just over a year since Kim Kardashian‘s Paris jewellery heist, the star’s Bel-Air property has been invaded, TMZ reports.
The assailant made it onto the property and ransacked three vehicles at the end of their driveway belonging to Kim and Kanye’s staffers.
After stealing an iPhone from a car, the thief was spotted and chased by security but they were unable to catch him.
The robber left the property then went next door to comedian Kathy Griffin‘s home and trashed a car at the end of the driveway and stole a purse.
Surveillance cameras were able to capture an image of the perp and investigators are currently searching for the man.
An insider told Radar Online that Kim is blaming her security for the robbery.
“Kim is blaming her security team and she is really shaken up right now!” The source told Radar Online.
“She doesn’t even understand how her security could have even let someone get close to their house and she honestly does not really want to even return to that house again,” the insider said, adding that “This is just one of Kim and Kanye’s five houses.”
“Kim thought that the Bel Air property would be a safe place to live while they are waiting for their super mansion to be finished. It is in a private community in Bel Air!”
In a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim admitted that she is still terrified after the Paris robbery when she broke down in tears while in Mexico for sister Kourtney‘s birthday.
“Ever since Paris I just like go through this worst case scenario mode in my head,” Kim said.
“I was so excited to come on this trip and I had no idea that I was gonna end up feeling this way. But it hit me right as we were getting off the plane that all of these people at the airport are gonna see 17 or 18 girls all with our Chanel bags, you know, Louis Vuitton this, and it just like hit me. We’re the biggest target ever,” she adds.
“I’m just like, ‘Why did I come?!’”
Despite not directly being involved in the home invasion this time, the terrifying memories of last year’s robbery are bound to come rushing back to the star.
Poor Kimmy!
