Kim Kardashian has defended Kylie’s controversial Forbes cover

What are sisters for?

Last week, Kylie Jenner graced the cover of Forbes magazine, for being the youngest person on the fourth annual ranking of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.

However, the entire world had an issue with the title ‘self-made’.

Even our own Waleed Aly had a go at her on The Project.

Now, Kim Kardashian is stepping in to defend and support her younger sister.

“I really didn’t get it, because she is ‘self-made’ — we are all ‘self-made,'” she said in an interview with Refinery29. “What, because we came from a family that has had success? To me, that doesn’t really make sense… I know so many people like that [who] haven’t turned out to be as successful as Kylie. If anything, I’ve seen the complete opposite.”

Kim also noted that she was proud of Kylie for turning her biggest insecurity (her lips) into her greatest success.

But most importantly, she discussed how she and her sisters have never leaned on their parents for anything – except advice.

“That’s how I lived my life with my dad [Robert Kardashian],” Kim said. “He never gave me anything. We might have the opportunity, but I’ve seen it go the complete opposite way. Nobody works harder than my sisters and my mom.”
