If, like the rest of the world, you spend your days perusing through Kim Kardashian‘s social media and binge-watching episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians then you will be very familiar with her personal assistant and friend Stephanie Shepherd.
The pair are often spotted in public together hitting up shopping malls, taking their kids on play dates and attending high profile events together.
Well, according to new reports, there’s one less Kardashian squad member to keep up with as Kim has cut all ties with Shepard.
“Kim made a decision to let Stephanie go,” a source tells People.
“She was a good assistant but when Stephanie wanted to transition into a larger role with Kim’s brand and businesses, it just didn’t work. Kim gave her the chance but after a short period of time it became clear that Stephanie just didn’t have the knowledge to take on a role like that. Kim made an executive decision to part ways.”
The decision will come as a shock to fans considering how close Stephanie was with Kim and her family unit.
In a recent episode of KUWTK, Kourtney Kardashian told Kim that Steph is low-key over her job, to which Kim responded:
“But I do think it’s like inappropriate for her to talk to you and not to me. I mean don’t you think that’s like a little bit unprofessional?”
And it looks like they’ve finally called it quits on their longtime friendship/partnership. Farewell Steph, you’ll be missed bae.
