Earlier this year it was announced that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had hired a surrogate to carry their third child due to Kim’s health struggles.
Since the official announcement, multiple sources have spoken out about the power couple’s treatment of the surrogate.
Kardashian insiders told Heat that Kanye has been keeping a close eye on the surrogate… a little too close, in fact.
“It’s understandable that Kanye’s nervous about using a surrogate, but it seems he’s driving everyone crazy,” says the insider.
They added: “Not so much as a stray snack will be tolerated”.
Being the ~acclaimed~ rapper that he is, he also insists that the surrogate play the unborn baby his music as well as recordings of him and Kim reading children’s stories.
Um… k?
Kanye has gone so far with the micromanaging that even Kim has reportedly told him to back off.
“Kim’s trying to convince him to lay off a bit, because she doesn’t want the stress to affect the baby, especially if the surrogate can’t sleep well,” says the source.
“The irony for Kim is that Kanye is so concerned about his unborn child, but the stress of all these rules could cause major complications.”
And this isn’t the first time that the pair have come under fire for how they’ve been treating the unnamed woman.
National Enquirer alleged that the pair are only paying her a ‘relative pittance’ to give birth to their child.
According to the publication’s sources, Kim and Kanye – worth a total of $335 million – are said to be ‘only’ paying her $75,000, plus medical expenses and a monthly allowance of $4,500.
But she’ll get $2,000 more if she gives birth by cesarean, and an additional $5,000 if she gives birth to twins.
Sounds hella shady, tbh!
