Move over Bonnie Bennett, there’s a new super powerful witch in town and we just know you’re gonna fall under her spell.
It was recently announced that Netflix has started working on a Riverdale spin-off that would revolve around the old school Archie comic, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
And after searching from coven to coven, they’ve finally found the perf actress to bring the witchy blonde to life: Kiernan Shipka.
The Mad Men alum is an ideal choice to play the teen sorceress, not just ‘coz she’s a cutesy blonde, but also ‘coz she’s a total bad-ass, just like Sabrina!
“We’re all such huge fans of Kiernan’s work that when we started talking about who this new incarnation of Sabrina could be, her name was on everyone’s wish list,” said executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
“This is a darker, more macabre version of Sabrina, and we’re incredibly excited for people to see Kiernan make this iconic character her own.”
The series will follow Sabrina as she learns to control her ~magical~ abilities while juggling her responsibilities as a high school student.
