Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid are now facing legal trouble over Fyre Festival

As well as Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski.

The mess that was Fyre Festival may be well and truly over, but the consequences of it are still rolling in. Especially after the explosive Vice/Netflix documentary that was released earlier this month.

The US Bankruptcy court is currently looking into what happened to $26 million in investor funding, and as a result, some of the famous Instagram models that were involved in the promotion of the festival are facing subpoenas.

Yikes.

According to a report by The Fashion Law, Gregory M. Messer (the court-appointed liquidation trustee for Fyre Media), is looking into the $5 million-plus paid to modeling agencies such as IMG and DNA.

These two agencies represent many of the models who appeared in the marketing videos and photos for the event that were posted on the festival on social media, such as Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Elsa Hosk, Hailey Baldwin, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Gizele Oliveira.

A further $250,000 was paid to Kendall Jenner Inc., the entity for Kendall.

Gregory M. Messer has already subpoenaed the co-founder for Fyre Festival, rapper Ja Rule, as well as CAA, NUE Agency, and American Airlines.

He has said that he is “required to uncover as much information as he can from third parties in order to gain a full understanding of [Fyre Media’s] financial affairs.”

Gregory is also looking into third parties due to festival organiser Billy McFarland’s “failure to file required [documentation] and a statement of financial affairs.”

WHAT a mess.
