Over the weekend, Twitter had a major crackdown on fake accounts and spam accounts, meaning people lost A LOT of followers.
But while we don’t really care for us mortals losing a few followers here and there, we bet Katy Perry – most followed person on Twitter – care that she lost MILLIONS. 3 million to be exact.
How embarro.
Katy now has a whopping 107 million followers on Twitter, which is still very curious since Witness sold less than 1 million copies worldwide and only 266,300 people attended her world tour…
DigitalSpy investigated Katy’s following last year, finding that only 32 percent of Katy Perry’s followers are real people.
