Kanye has been linked to Chaney Jones since February 2022, not long after his whirlwind romance with Uncut Gems actress Julia Fox came to a sudden end.
And if you’ve seen the hundreds of paparazzi photos plastered online of Kanye hanging out with Chaney, you’d be forgiven for momentarily thinking the rapper and his estranged wife Kim Kardashian had rekindled their marriage. Chaney is a dead ringer for the reality star, only adding more buzz to their highly-publicised romance.
So who exactly is the stunning brunette who’s captured Kanye’s heart this time around?
Not only has Chaney hit the genetic jackpot, she’s also a seriously smart cookie. The 24-year-old graduated from the University of Delaware in 2020 with a major in elementary education and a minor in human development and family studies.
Even more impressive, she was on the Dean’s List for three years.
Chaney, who grew up in Delaware, is the COO of First State Behavioral Health, a counseling service helmed by her father, Avon Jones.
Chaney’s bio on the company’s website reads: “I studied elementary education at the University of Delaware.
“I feel as though counseling and behavioral health treatment is a healthy action for everyone. Counseling can help everyone improve in their everyday life and I look forward to working with you.”
Chaney took to Instagram on March 7 to reveal she is currently getting her masters in counselling, and maintains a 4.0 GPA [grade point average].
Kanye’s curvaceous muse went on to deny to her 447,000 followers that she has never undergone plastic surgery on her face.
“I was born like this,” she said, before sharing a throwback photo of her 20-year-old self to prove that she still has the “same face, same nose”.
“Lol I’ve never been in denial bout surgery,” she continued.
Chaney went on to reveal she has European, French, German, West African, Nigerian and Ghanaian heritage.
Kanye seemingly confirmed his romance with Chaney on March 3 after sharing a screenshot from The Shade Room to his Instagram that featured a recent paparazzi photo of the loved-up pair.
Included in the screenshot was a caption that read “It appears #Ye and his new boo #ChaneyJones are going strong.”
In his own caption, Kanye simply used a black heart emoji.
