It’s no shock that Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes have a rivalry with one another.
Shawn had a romantic relationship with Justin’s wife, Hailey Bieber, and they’re both Canadian pop-icons!
But Justin won’t let Shawn come for his title of ‘Prince of Pop’.
Observer Magazine put that title on their cover of Shawn this month, and Justin quickly came for him.
“Gonna have to break a few more records to dethrone my title there bud (canadian voice)… but if you want we can play hockey for it but i heard your a real bender on the ice we could just drop the buckets and tilt for it,” Justin wrote.
Clearly, Justin was kidding, but a lot of fans saw it as a ‘feud’, so he was forced to clarify himself.
“there is no competition and it was a playful joke people relax.. there’s no sides we’re all just here to make dope music. I’m just competitive as is he so it was just a little playful jargon.”
Thankfully, Shawn replied to Justin with his own playful response.
“LOL any time any day you just let me know!!!!!!”
