As Selena Gomez and her mama Mandy Teefey are at war over Sel’s reunion with Justin Bieber, a shook JB has reportedly gotten in touch with his former flame Hailey Baldwin.
“Justin reached out to Hailey. They didn’t talk on the phone and it wasn’t in person, just an exchange of texts,” a source told Us Weekly.
“Hailey is dating Shawn Mendes. There is nothing going on between her and Justin. She’s not interested in Justin in the slightest and he’s not interested in her.”
The source added: “They’ve both moved on. The messages were platonic, and friendly.”
Justin even told Sel about the conversation and apparently she wasn’t too pleased about the “Sorry” singer reaching out to his ex.
“People around Selena are worried about her coupling with Justin and how much stress it could be on her,” adds the insider. “Especially if it’s so tumultuous.”
Justin and Hailey dated from the end of 2015 through to early 2016, and even went on a New Year’s Eve trip to Anguilla during that time period.
But since parting ways, Hailz has gotten with “Stitches” singer Shawn Mendes and the pair are reportedly V. happy, so it sounds like the Biebs just contacted Hailey for ~*moral support*~ in the midst of all the dramz with his mama-in-law.
