Chrissy Teigen is probably one of the best people to follow on Twitter, mainly because you’ll often catch her trolling haters or dropping hilarous facts about her husband John Legend.
However, her most recent truth bomb had us all SHOOK… because apparently, we’ve all been pronouncing her last name wrong.
It all began with a tweet about the real pronunciation of Ariana Grande‘s name.
“You know how innocent you have to be to allow a world to pronounce [your] last name wrong [your] whole life and just go along with it?” someone tweeted about a video of Ariana saying her own name.
Another user then replied, “Well we pronounce @chrissyteigen’s name wrong all the time,” tagging Chrissy in.
“word!” Chrissy replied. “gave up a long time ago. last name is tie-gen not tee-gen.”
SHOOK!
She even admitted that she corrects people when they say it correctly.
