Hailee Steinfeld can now add “matchmaker” to her long and incredible resumé, because we can semi-credit her for the iconic duo that is Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas.
While chatting to Nova 96.9’s Smallzy’s Surgery show, Hailee was asked if she had ever played matchmaker before.
“I mean, I will say, I did get that text from Sophie being like, ‘So tell me about Joe,’ and I was like, ‘Go for it!'” Elle reports.
Hailee worked with DNCE for the song “Rock Bottom” which is how she and Joe met, and she had always been super close with Sophie.
“I actually just saw them both for the first time since they got engaged; I saw them together,” she added. “And yeah, I mean, I’m freaking out about it.”
Who isn’t?
Joe and Sophie started dating in December 2016. By the following September, they had adopted a puppy together… and the next month, they were engaged.
That’s real love.
Nick Jonas even revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight last year, that the couple are crazy in love. “As someone that knows [Joe] very well, I can tell you that he found his partner and the love of his life,” he said. “That’s all that matters. It’s a beautiful thing.”
