Fans may have gotten slightly bored with Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse refusing to admit that they’re dating IRL, so they seem to have averted their attention to KJ Apa and Camila Mendes instead.
The two play boyfriend and girlfriend on Riverdale just like #Bughead, so naturally everybody wants them to be a thing IRL, and fans are looking for signs of a possible relationship.
Recently, KJ uploaded a photo of himself and Cami. “Mum and Dad came to visit us, my sister is so annoying omg lol smh.”
Clearly the image is a joke, since the two people they are with aren’t even KJ’s parents, and he’s basically referring to Camila as his sister…
However fans also noted that Camila did hang out with KJ’s family, sister included, only recently.
They are most likely just really good friends, as the entire cast are… but the way they look at each other sometimes really gets our hopes up.
Cole explained the whole situation pretty well when he spoke to Entertainment Weekly.
“Since the show began, people have wanted Lili and I to be together. People have wanted Lili and Cami to be together. People have wanted KJ and I to be together. People have wanted every actor on this show to be in a union that they could make real and talk about. So I think that kind of discussion, especially because it’s based so much on rumor and hearsay, needs to be taken with a grain of salt.”
Well, regardless of anything, we know we’ll be getting more onscreen romance between Veronica and Archie next season!
