Look, we all know that Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are doing it behind closed doors, but they’ve remained mum about the entire thing. And that’s totally their choice.
While they’ve basically begged the world to respect their privacy, nobody has (guilty), and this fan just became the biggest legend/most hated girl in the fandom after directly asking Cole if he’s dating Lili.
While the cast sat on a panel at PaleyFest, a girl asks, “Cole and Lili, there’s been a lot of rumours of you guys dating. Are you dating?”
Cue: everyone on stage freaking out.
Madelaine Petsch: *to the side* “That’s such an inappropriate question.
KJ Apa: *fidgeting endlessly*
Camila Mendes: *smirking*
And poor Lili can’t help but hide her face.
Cole tried to dodge the question by saying, “Was that a question or a statement?” but the fan isn’t having it. “Are you guys dating?” she asks again.
Finally giving in, Cole leans into his mic and mumbles “no comment,” with the biggest smile on his face and the crowd literally erupts, the girl faints and we’re all hyperventilating.
Look, it was highly inappropriate for the girl to ask that question when they have insisted on remaining private about it, but we’re not gonna lie and say we’re upset about it either. The entire thing is adorable seeing how Cole and Lili look so cute and happy about it.
However many fans are pretty annoyed with the girl.
