Demi thought news about rapper 21 Savage being arrested and deported were hilarious, writing, “This is how 21 Savage be writing his verses”.

The rapper was arrested in Atlanta yesterday by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement after being accused of being a UK citizen who entered the US legally when he was a minor, in July 2005, but failing to leave under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa.

Demi was absolutely dragged for her tweet.

The rapper Wake also responded to Demi, “Why is somebody’s freedom funny… I don’t get the joke.”

In a now-deleted tweet The Shade Room caught, Demi hit back. “Wale just salty I never replied to his desperate tweets years ago.”

Wale replied, “Still ain’t gon disrespect you… still praying for you Demi. Glad u seen my old tweets. Hopefully you seen the ones providing comfort and prayer when you were down. I don’t kick people when they down. Go queen.”

After the intense backlash, Demi took to her Instagram story to clear things up, writing that she “wasn’t laughing at anyone getting deported.”

However, some of the comments left on Demi’s page were horrific, to say the least:
