The DJ Who Groped Taylor Swift Has Made One Final Harsh Move Towards Her

Petty is an understatement.

Yesterday, TIME’s ‘Person Of The Year’ cover was unveiled, with the women involved in the #MeToo movement being honoured. One being Taylor Swift.

Although she wasn’t personally involved in the movement, she did go through a huge sexual assault trial this year with ex radio host DJ, David Mueller, who groped her during a meet and greet in 2013.

In the publication, Taylor opened up about the experience and the trial for the first time ever.

“I figured that if he would be brazen enough to assault me under these risky circumstances and high stakes, imagine what he might do to a vulnerable, young artist if given the chance,” Taylor told Time, explaining how the incident went down in a public setting. “It was important to report the incident to his radio station because I felt like they needed to know.”

She finished off by revealing that she still hadn’t been paid her $1.

“When the jury found in my favour, the man who sexually assaulted me was court-ordered to give me a symbolic $1. To this day he has not paid me that dollar, and I think that act of defiance is symbolic in itself.”

HOWEVER, Davis spoke to the Associated Pressand revealed that he sent Taylor the money a couple of weeks ago, providing proof.

He told the publication that he intended to make one final jab towards her by sending a Sacagawea dollar which features a female Native American woman.

“I mean if this is all about women’s rights. … It’s a little poke at them, a little bit,” he said. “I mean, I think they made this into a publicity stunt, and this is my life.”

David has previously sued Taylor for $3 million in damages, however Taylor’s countersue of $1 won.

“You might be made to feel like you’re overreacting, because society has made this stuff seem so casual,” Taylor revealed. “My advice is that you not blame yourself and do not accept the blame others will try to place on you,” she said.

Amen sister.
