Following the shock split between Bachelor 2019 Matt Agnew and Chelsie McLeod, fans are still left wondering what went wrong.

While Chelsie’s close friend from the show Rachael Arahill basically confirmed that Matt did the dumping, we’re now left with a very salty Chelsie, who is lashing out at her ex-boyfriend on Instagram.
After a fan commented on the breakup post: “omg no, I wanna know why 😭”
Rachel responded, “so does Chelsie”.
While Chelsie has stayed pretty quiet after the announcement, she has now posted a photo of herself, Nichole Wood, Helena Sauzier and Sogan Moffat from the show, she captioned the photo: “Take the good with the bad”.
Clearly, Chelsie is referring to her newfound friends as the ‘good’, and her sh*tty relationship with Matt as the ‘bad’. But hey, one can only assume.
The former couple announced their split on Sunday evening, with Matt admitting it was “with a heavy heart” that he’d parted ways with Chelsie.
“These past six months since filming have been a very unique experience. Chels and I have made some beautiful memories together that I’ll always cherish, and I wish her nothing but the absolute best. However, it’s with a heavy heart that I write this. For Chels and me, our relationship hasn’t translated from filming to the real, every day world as we had hoped.”
He continued: “Chels is a very special woman and I want her to find the happiness she deserves. For those who may wonder if there’s someone else for me right now, there absolutely is not. It’s no one’s fault, it’s just life.”
Shortly after, Chelsie posted her own announcement.
“Thank you so much to everyone for your support and kind words over what was an incredibly exciting, rewarding, challenging, and emotional journey,” she began. “Your words have not gone unnoticed. Matt showed me what it was like to be respected in a relationship and I am so thankful for that. However, it saddens me to say that we are no longer together.
“I wish him nothing but the best. I’m sorry to those that were invested in our relationship. Please remember to be kind online as you don’t know what is going on behind the screen. All my love.”
Shortly after the news broke, fans flocked to runner-up Abbie Chatfield’s Instagram asking if she will now try again with Matt.
“I’ve been tagged in a lot of comments this morning on posts about Matt and Chelsie’s relationship ending. Some of you are saying it’s my shot, others are saying that he’s done a Blake Garvey. None of this is fair on Chelsie, Matt or me,” she wrote in a heartfelt Instagram story.
“My contact with Matt ended when I walked away from him at [the] finale, and I am good friends with Chelsie and love her very much.”
She finished by asking her fans to drop it.
“These comments are unnecessary and aren’t helping anyone. I have nothing to do with their relationship or their breakup, so I’d appreciate it if I was left out of the conversation. Matt and Chels are great humans and I want them to both be happy.”
