A year ago today, Charlie Puth and Bella Thorne turned heads when they were making out in public.
It was during the time that Bella was still supposedly dating Tyler Posey, which is why it was so dramatic.
However Charlie quickly ended things when he found out she was ‘cheating’, sending Tyler a public apology on Twitter.
Since then, Charlie made a pretty intense song about Bella called “Attention”, even using a lookalike in the music video. Ouch.
Now, the two have attended the annual Jingle Ball (this time, separately), and they had a really awkward run in.
Bella helped host the show, and in doing so, had to introduce Charlie to the stage. She introduced him as her ‘friend’, but fans were dying over the interaction.
Yes, Bella had to introduce Charlie to sing “Attention”, the song about her. Whoa.
Neither Bella or Charlie have made any public comments about the awkward interaction, and we don’t really think they will.
It was a whole year ago anyway, and although the fans never forget, we think maybe they’d rather do just that.
