Having someone like Billie Eilish think you’re cool would basically cement you as awesome, forever. Unfortunately for YouTuber Tana Mongeau, her attempts to win Billie’s approval have failed. Dismally.
While she’s tried time and time again to be friends with Billie, the singer just isn’t having it. Now the final straw has come in the form of her unfollowing Tana on Instagram, and a meltdown is HAPPENING!
Being the vlogger that she is, Tana had to record her emotional reaction to the unfollowing, which she posted to her YouTube channel.
“Billie Eilish unfollowed me,” Tana says to her manager Jordan.
“This is absolutely the most detrimental thing I’ve ever filmed myself telling you. I’m actually sad. I found this out yesterday and I went through hard shock… but I have to make this video. I have to get views out of it because nothing else good could happen from this,” Tana explains, dramatically.

We’re really not surprised that Billie unfollowed the reality star. She’s made is VERY clear that she is not a fan of her from day one.
Tana once dressed like Billie for a whole week, but when meeting her idol after a performance last year Billie’s face said it all:
After Tana’s weird/somewhat fake engagement news came out about her and Jake Paul, Billie responded on Instagram with a simple yet effective, “eek” and “yikes”.
That apparently urged Tana to ask Billie if her comment meant she would be coming to the wedding. It was a hard ‘no’ from Billie.
The burn is so hot.
So, Tana really shouldn’t be that surprised about Billie’s recent social media unfollowing.
Billie’s fans know that she likes to keep her following to an oddly satanic 666, so if she follows someone new, that means she has to sacrifice another.
Unfortunately for Tana, this was her.
However, right now Billie is following 665 people, so maybe she really was trying to make a statement with Tana.
