Her gallery of photos showed highly realistic images of her face looking beaten up, which didn’t sit well with fans as they accused the star of glamourising domestic abuse and violence.

“Why is glamorising being physically abused culturally appropriate during Halloween?” wrote a fan.

“This trivialises domestic abuse,” said another.

It was important for some fans to point out that victims of this kind of abuse are not Halloween costumes, as there is nothing funny, sexy or hot about this look.

“You can’t use that for Halloween makeup it is not a costume,” they wrote. “Why???? I feel this is too close to physical abuse, you’re crossing a fine line here,” wrote another fan.

“Do you think this is a joke? Making fun pretending to be a beaten woman? Really?” another commented.

Bella has actually in the past spoken about her own experiences with physical and sexual abuse, which is why people are so surprised by her ‘look’.

Interestingly, Bella debuted her actual Halloween costume as a Girl Scout.
