After three years of dating, Modern Family star Ariel Winter has broken it off with Levi Meaden.
The couple started dating in November 2016, but fans noticed that they hadn’t been spotted together since August 2019.

Us Weekly first reported on the split, mentioning how the usual loved-up couple hadn’t been spotted together for months, and that Ariel was also seen with a mystery man in a restaurant in October.
After a year of dating, Levi, 32, moved in with Ariel, 21, in May 2017. The move caused a bit of controversy because of the age difference between the two… which is eleven years.
“My boyfriend and I live together and he cooks,” Ariel said on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “I can’t cook at all. He takes care of all that handy stuff. He’s great at that. I can bake a pie occasionally — pumpkin and apple. I baked those two the other day. They were edible.”
Speaking to Refinery29, she defended their actions.
“I’m happy, and whatever people want to say, they can say,” she said. “I don’t understand why someone would even comment on our situation at all. There are tons of people of all ages that live with their boyfriend. There are tons of people that live with their girlfriends, [and] tons of people that don’t live together and are super happy. But I’m super happy in the arrangement that we have. We love living together. It’s just great.”
In 2017, the pair got matching tattoos. They got cheese wedges and peanut butter because of their nicknames.
In June 2018, Ariel had to deny claims that Levi had proposed to her after paparazzi got photos of him bending down on one knee in front of her.
“Levi ties my shoe after lunch and now it’s apparently a fun pre proposal for the cameras according to the internet?????? dead. Dude we didn’t even notice you until you jumped from behind a tree & just… nope.”
The news of their break up does seem pretty amicable since they seem to have been split for months and are still following each other on Instagram.
