Ariana Grande has FINALLY blessed the world with her ‘thank u, next’ video and it didn’t disappoint.
In what is now one of my fave music videos of all time, Ari gave us the ultimate throwback to Mean Girls, Legally Blonde AND Bring It On all in one. What did we do to deserve this!?
There were amazing cameos, including Kris Jenner playing Ari’s ultimate stage mum and we couldn’t get enough.
But what we’re loving even more is all the hidden messages from the vid that eagle-eyed fans have spotted, and the one about Pete Davidson left us screaming.
In the scene where Ari is killing it as Regina George writing in her burn book, she wrote ‘sorry I dipped’ and ‘I love you always’, which is really freaking sweet.
But the comment that caught our attention is ‘HUUUUUUGE’ written in big letters across the bottom of the page, in reference to Pete’s Big Dick Energy (BDE).
She also makes another reference to it in a scene when she’s getting her nails done.
‘He was really cute, and it was really big,’ she says.
The UPS delivery guy even wore a shirt with the initials BDE.
DYING.
Among the other things you might have missed are the fact that Ari’s shirt says ‘A Little Big Needy’ when Regina’s original shirt said ‘A Little Bit Dramatic’ in reference to Ari’s new song, which she’s been teasing on social media for weeks.
