While Ariana Grande’s new album Sweetener has been a huge success, fans shouldn’t expect to see her perform it live on tour anytime soon.
Fans are going to have to wait a very long time to see Ari on tour, after she revealed that it’s not on her agenda.
It came out when a fan account posted a meme about saving money to afford Ariana’s next tour and meet & greet. “u gonna be saving for a loooooooooooooong time ……” Ari wrote.
The comment has since been deleted, but it’s not the most surprising thing. Ariana is still mourning the sudden death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, which is why she didn’t attend the Emmy awards either.
On the night, her team released a statement about Ariana not attending, due to mourning the rapper’s death.
“Contrary to reports, Ariana will not be attending the Emmys tonight. Pete has also opted to not attend to be with her in New York.
Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend,” her team added. “She will be staying close to home and using this period to spend time with her loved ones and work on new music without deadline. She thanks her fans for their understanding.”
