We may think that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson had a whirlwind romance for a couple of weeks between meeting and then getting engaged… but there was actually a lot more to it than that.
While chatting to one of her close friends Zach Sang on The Zach Sang Show, with a large group of her fans sitting in, Ari spoke about how she actually met Pete.
The pair met on SNL, we all know that… but what Ari admitted was that Pete was the first guy she’s ever had a major crush on.
She met the entire group of SNL in a room, where they sat around pitching ideas for the show. Later on, she went around to each person’s room individually. When she got to Pete’s room, she explained how instant the connection was. Zach then asked her manager if there was a different energy to Ariana after she left his room, and he said, “She said I’m going to marry that man.”
UM, goosebumps?!
“We didn’t talk for years. We weren’t even friends or anything.”
The best part? When she saw that he had a deathly hallows tattoo on his arm.
She explained the same situation to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show:
