Ever since Baywatch came out, we have been certain that the co-stars Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario are dating.
But it turns out that they’re totally not!
“Zac and I’ve worked together, and we’re very good friends,” Alex recently told People magazine.
The actors were supposedly seeing each other “on and off since their time working together on the movie last year,” but were never “officially dating.”
How disappointing.
However, it’s not the first time Alex has denied the rumours. At the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, she said,
“We work together closely; he’s my love interest in the film. I understand why people would go crazy over something like that, but Zac and I are very good friends.”
