’13 Reasons Why’ season 3 has reportedly been delayed

Fans of 13 Reasons Why could be waiting a whole lot longer to find out what happened to Clay and co. after the shocking season 2 cliffhanger.

Reports have surfaced that production of season 3 could potentially be delayed due to cast salary negotiations.

According to Deadline, the core cast has asked for a significate pay raise.

Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay has reportedly requested a pay increase to around $200,000 per episode. Other cast members Brandon Flynn (Justin), Alisha Boe (Jessica), Justin Prentice (Bryce), Christian Navarro (Tony), Miles Heizer (Alex), Devin Druid (Tyler) and Ross Butler (Zach) have also requested $150,000 per episode.

It is rumoured that the cast’s salaries were previously in the range of $20,000 – $60,000 per episode.

A table read for the upcoming season was meant to go ahead this week with production originally slated to begin in just a few days.
