You love your cat but its malting hair is a different story. Thankfully, a Tasmanian cat owner has the answer.
Taking to social media, Danica Penton said she has started using a $2 squeegee on her couch to remove cat hair and the results have been amazing.
“I honestly had little hope when I picked it up off the shelf, but I thought that it was only $2 and I could use it elsewhere if it didn’t work, so I had nothing to lose,” she told news.com.au.
“I am definitely loving the results and it’s so easy!
“I have another window washer from Kmart that I actually use for windows — this one is purely for the couch.”
The reaction on social media has been positive with Danica saying she surprised by the feedback.
“I was very surprised by the feedback I received, especially since I thought about not posting it because I thought it was just lame — I’m hoping the hack will benefit other pet owners.”
Thinking about trying this for yourself? Simply, run the squeegee along the couch and watch it collect the hair. Danica says she wipes the cat hair onto the floor and vacuums it up.
