There’s no denying that Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) is extremely fit.

Although her many stunning fashion campaigns may suggest that her taut and toned physique is the result of good genetics, it turns out that the 24-year-old model works hard to stay fit.
But it’s not all work and no balance.
Hailey appears to have a highly relatable approach to taking care of her physical and mental health.
How Hailey Baldwin stays fit both mentally and physically
From her go-to workouts to her favourite meals, here’s exactly how she stays healthy and strong.
Exercise
When it comes to keeping her muscles long and lean, Hailey swears by hot Pilates.
“I’ve been doing hot Pilates for around two years now. I first started going to a place in Brooklyn and then I discovered a place out here in L.A. that I’ve gone to for quite some time now,” she told Us Weekly in March 2019.
Baldwin is also a fan of hot yoga, with the model previously confessing that it’s the heat and surprising skin benefits that keep her going back.
“I find that when you do any hot class your muscles are more pliable and you’re stretched out easier,” she said. “I’ve been a fan of hot yoga for a very long time too.”
“You come out dripping in sweat and my face is like a tomato and it’s good for your skin! I love it! I’m obsessed and it’s addictive,” she added.
Pilates aside, Hailey also incorporates strength training into her workout regimen to keep her core strong and toned, getting her fix at the celebrity-loved New York gym, Dogpound.
The model sculpts her midsection through a combination of compound exercises (moves that work multiple muscle groups at the same time) that challenge the core, including single-leg deadlifts and weighted walking lunges.
Diet
For the most part, Hailey follows a balanced diet, favouring whole foods while prioritising protein and vegetables.
In a 2016 interview with ELLE U.S., Baldwin revealed that her standard breakfast is “usually eggs or oatmeal, some type of healthy protein, or a smoothie”, while lunch typically comprised of “salad, fish, grilled veggies or maybe a sandwich”.
Per ELLE U.S., Baldwin’s dinners are usually “along the same lines [as lunch]”, although she occasionally opts for gluten-free pasta or chicken.
She has also previously confessed to avoiding gluten, meat and consuming minimal dairy, as it makes her “just feel better when I eat that way.”
While her staple diet is quite healthy, Baldwin isn’t one to skimp on the occasional cheat day, and has no qualms about indulging in her favourite treat: “a cheeseburger and fries.”
The model has been refreshingly candid about her cravings in the past, having previously told ELLE U.S. about her approach to cheat days.
“A cheat day for me, the first thing that I crave, I’ll eat. That’s my rule. So if I wake up and I want pancakes, I’m gonna eat pancakes. If I want a cheeseburger for lunch or for dinner, I’m gonna eat it. If I want fries, I’m gonna eat the fries,” she said.
Mental health
Equally committed to taking care of her mental health as she is her physical, Baldwin has a number of positive habits to help her manage her ongoing struggles with anxiety.
In an interview with Glamour in April 2019, Baldwin revealed that when she needs moment to herself to feel grounded, she takes a nap, listens to music or does some errands.
“I like to nap. Honestly, I understand little kids when I nap. I’m like, ‘Oh, I get it’. This is really helpful and it feels good. I also like to take a moment and listen to some music and chill,” she told Glamour.
“It’s so important, in my opinion, to find those moments for yourself. Especially when you’re around people all the time. Not only for work, but when you’re in a relationship too, and you’re with another person all the time.
“I think it’s important for both parties to be able to be, like, ‘Hey, I need an hour to myself.’ For me, I actually enjoy running errands. I like having to go to the grocery store or the drugstore. It’s a weird therapeutic thing for me—[it helps me] to feel normal.”
