Since Taylor Swift‘s return to music (and to the world, really), she has been met with loads of backlash from the public.
She has been accused of being anti-feminist for slamming her fellow female celebs (Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry, to name a few), she has been blasted for *supposedly* choosing to release her album on the anniversary of Kanye West‘s mama’s passing and people are srsly eye rolling over the fact that she’s “playing the victim… again”.
The dramz have left loads of people (including celebs) divided, and in a recent interview Zayn Malik shared his thoughts on Tay.
The Fader asked Zayn, who collaborated with Tay on “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” how he felt about the sitch and he did not hold back.
“I rate her as an artist, I think she’s cool, I think she’s successful, and I think she deserves her success because she’s worked hard,” he said.
“That’s just how I look at it. I did a song with her, it was fun, she was professional. She gets on with my girlfriend, they’re good friends.”
So he didn’t really go into any specific deets, but it sounds like his love of Taylor as an artist and friend eclipses any other drama that’s going down RN.
Well played, Zayn!
