As we know, Will Smith is taking over the iconic role of Genie in Aladdin, a role that was made famous by the beloved, late Robin Williams.
As Will Smith knows, it’s a hard act to follow.
Will has shared an incredibly touching tribute to Robin on Instagram, and we’re all crying over it.
“I know Genies don’t have Feet… But you left some Big Shoes to fill,” Will wrote. “R.I.P., Robin!” he captioned the post.
The photo shared depicts Will as Genie in animated form, next to Robin’s animated version that we all grew up to love.
We cannot wait to see how Will Smith reimagines such a fabulous character!
Aladdin hits theatres on the 24th of May, 2019.
