Disney are killing it at the moment.
Why? Because they have been bringing back some of the best movies from our childhood. We had the remake of Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella a few years ago and there’s a live-action Lion King and Aladdin in the works.
But best of all is the upcoming release of Toy Story 4!!!
So here is everything you need to know about the upcoming film.
WHO PLAYS THE VILLIAN?
It might come as a shock but we have already met Toy Story 4’s villain. Gabby Gabby, who comes from the same shop as Bo Peep, will be causing trouble in the next installment.
Josh Cooley, the director of Toy Story 4, told Entertainment Weekly: “Gabby has been in this antique store for 60-plus years. We’ve never seen creepy, old dolls like that in Toy Story, and this was an opportunity to do that. Gabby is a perfect toy except for the fact that she’s got one thing broken about her that’s been keeping her from being purchased and loved forever. So when Woody comes across her, it’s bad right out the gate. And in fact, meeting her for the first time is one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie.”
IS THERE A TRAILER YET?
We have had months of teasers and now we finally have an official full-length trailer that you need to watch RIGHT NOW.
The trailer shows Woody the hero, saving Forky. Disney sums up the trailer pretty well:
“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”

WILL IT LEAVE THE POSSIBILITY FOR A TOY STORY 5?
We are all hoping for a fifth installment (even though we haven’t even seen the fourth one yet!). Tim Allen says there might be more adventures for Woody and Buzz yet.
“Once you’ve gotten to four, you’re passed that trilogy, so I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t do it, certainly. If you ask me, I’d say do five,” he told Entertainment Tonight.
IS THE MOVIE ALMOST READY FOR CINEMAS?
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have revealed they’ve finished voice recording for Toy Story 4 so be patient as we don’t have long to go.
“Final line, final session as Woody of Toy Story 4. We rode like the wind, to infinity and beyond,” Tom Hanks wrote on Twitter.
“Finished my Buzz for Toy Story 4 today and it got emotional. Wonderful full body story. You are all going to love the work this incredible team at Pixar created. We are all going to love this story….man its got everything,” Tim Allen wrote.
WHAT IS THE STORYLINE?
From the official trailer, we can see the movie takes place some years after Andy gave his toys to Bonnie. But the toys face a new problem: Bonnie has created a brand new toy from arts and crafts and its name is Forky. Forky suffers an existential crisis about being a toy and the others try to help him understand how to be a toy.
When Bonnie and her family go on a road trip Forky escapes and Woody runs off to save him but becomes separated from the group. While Buzz and the others try to help find Woody, Woody finds Bo Peep in an antique shop and gives she gives him a new outlook on what being a toy is really about.
WHEN CAN WE WATCH IT?
We were supposed to get Toy Story 4 in 2017, but Pixar announced the upcoming installment is due for June 21, 2019. YASSSS!
