Vanity Fair hasn’t had the best time with their cover-shoots lately. Just last month, they somehow managed to give Oprah and Reece Witherspoon a bunch of extra body parts, and now, they’ve copied another label’s cover.
Or so some people believe, according to the New York Post.
Jennifer Lawrence is their March cover star, and although she doesn’t have an extra nose or whatnot, people have noticed that it’s very similar to The Hollywood Reporter’s cover from December.
Insiders have revealed that Vanity Fair‘s editor Radhika Jones was “scrambling in recent days to at least switch out the fonts in a bid to minimise the embarrassment,” so it ended up like this…
The side profile, with the gaping mouth, light shining on her face and that font… it’s pretty clear how people picked up on this.
Insiders also revealed that by the time the mistake was noticed, it was too late and too expensive to reshoot.
